Direct flights from Ahvaz, the capital of southwestern Khuzestan Province, to the Turkish capital Istanbul will be operated from Nov. 4 by Iran Airtour, according to the head of Ahvaz Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.
“As per schedule, the flights will be operated every Thursday at 8:30 a.m. as Istanbul-Ahvaz flight will be operated every Wednesday at 11:45 p.m.,” Shahla Amouri was also quoted as saying by the news portal of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (Otaghonlineiran.ir).
The flight route was first launched by Turkish Airlines in the fiscal 2014-15.
The flights were suspended on the order of National Coronavirus Headquarters of Iran recently.
