Construction Permits Under Review

The Statistical Center of Iran has published its latest data regarding construction permits issued in Tehran as well as the country’s other urban areas during the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year (Dec. 21, 2020-March 20, 2021).
Municipalities across the country issued permits for 137,190 housing units across Iran’s urban areas in Q4 (winter), indicating a 20.5% increase compared with the previous quarter and a 14.2% growth compared with the corresponding quarter of last year. 
The average number of residential units per permit across the country was 2.8. The average floor area of residential units per permit was 547 square meters.
