‘Health & Treatment’ Inflation at 38.5%

The average goods and services Consumer Price Index of “Health and Treatment” in the 12-month period ending Aug. 22, which marks the end of the fifth Iranian month of fiscal 2021-22, increased by 38.5% compared with the similar month of last year, latest data released by the Statistical Center of Iran show.
The CPI of the group stood at 278.9 for the month ending Aug. 22, indicating a 3.6% increase compared with the month before. 
The index, with a coefficient of 7.14%, registered an increase of 43.7% compared with the similar month of last year.
