Growth in Upstream Steel Output

The upstream steel industry registered growth in the production of iron ore concentrate and granulated iron ore during the first four months (March 21-July 22) of the fiscal 2021-22 compared with last year’s corresponding period, latest data released by the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization show.
The IMIDRO report takes into account the output of major producers, hence the overall production should be higher than the figures quoted here.
A total of 17.04 million tons of iron ore concentrate were produced during the four months under review, marking a 6% increase compared with the same period of last year.
