Passenger cruise services between the Iranian port city of Khorramshahr and Kuwait have restarted as of Aug. 14, the director general of Khorramshahr Port and Maritime Organization said.
“With the outbreak of coronavirus and the consequent restrictions in Kuwait, the service came to a halt, but it has now been relaunched after follow-ups with the relevant authorities,” Nurollah Asadi was also quoted as saying by IRNA.
According to an earlier report published on Feb. 26, Iran's cruise passenger services to Kuwait and UAE ports were suspended due to the spread of Covid-19 in Iran.
