Iran Central Iron Ore Company has started the construction of a new iron ore concentrate production plant with an annual capacity of 2 million tons and an investment of €105 million in the Bafq County of Yazd Province, according to the company’s CEO.
Reza Fallah Mobarakeh added that the plant will become operational in three years.
“The construction of the plant is mainly aimed at meeting the needs of the Se-Chahoon Pelletizing Plant,” he was quoted as saying by IRNA.
Yazd, one of the 31 provinces, is located in central Iran.
