H1 Trade With US Declines by 15.9%

Iran’s commercial transactions with the US amounted to $20.1 million during the first six months of 2021 to register a 15.9% decline compared with the corresponding period of 2020.
Bilateral exchanges in June 2021 amounted to $3.5 million, down 7.9% compared with $3.8 million in June 2020.
Latest data released by the US Census Bureau show Iran exported $0.3 million worth of goods to the US during the six months under review, indicating a 90% year-on-year fall.
Imports from the US stood at $19.8 million during the same period, down 5.3% from $20.9 million during the last fiscal year.
