Q1 Exports From Yazd Up 87%

Exports from Yazd Province stood at 728,000 tons worth $114 million in Q1 of the current fiscal year (March 21-June 21), registering a 48% and 87% growth on weight and value respectively year-on-year.
“Tiles and ceramics, steel products, hydrocarbons, different kinds of nylon and freezer bags, pipes and profiles, glassware, molybdenum oxide and ferromolybdenum, wires and cables, pistachio and rug cover were the top 10 exported goods from Yazd Province,” the head of Yazd Industries, Mining and Trade Organization, Mohammad Reza Alamdar-Yazdi, was quoted as saying by SHATA News.
Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, the UAE, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Syria, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan and Georgia were the main export destinations.
