New Shipment of Covid Vaccines Arrives

A shipment of 500,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines arrived at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Airport on July 10.
According to Mehrdad Jamal Orounaqi, the deputy head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration, so far, a total of 9.4 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine have arrived in Iran in 20 consignments.
“The imported vaccines have mainly been imported from Russia, India, Italy and South Korea,” he was quoted as saying by ISNA.
Orounaqi noted that new shipments will enter the country in the near future.
