Chazzabeh Border Terminal’s Exports to Iraq at $44m

Non-oil exports from Chazzabeh border terminal to Iraq stood at 214,000 tons worth $44 million in Q1 of the current fiscal year (March 21-June 21).
According to Hamid Silavi, a local official, exports included fruits and vegetables, dairy products, mechanical tools and building materials, IRNA reported.
Last year, there were no exports from the Chazzabeh border to Iraq in the same period due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 
Chazzabeh border is located 110 km northwest of the city of Ahvaz in Khuzestan Province.
