158% Rise in Exports From NW Customs Terminal

More than 132,000 tons of goods were exported through Bileh Savar border terminal of the northwestern Ardabil Province during the first three months of the current fiscal year (March 21-June 21), registering a 158% growth year-on-year.
According to Kalimollah Vosuqi, a local official, the exports mainly included agricultural products, glass, chipboard, building stone, tiles, dates, salt and profiles, IRNA reported.
Azerbaijan, Russia, Georgia and the Caucasus region were the main export destinations from this customs terminal.
Goods were exported by 4,886 Iranian trucks and imported through 1,012 trucks from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
