Auction of Tehran Mines Planned

The Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade has started the process of holding the public auction of mines in the capital city.
According to the ministry, Iran has 5,866 mines, of which 45 are located in Tehran.
The public auction of exploration zones, extraction license, discovery certificates and mining licenses of Tehran Province will start on May 22, IRNA reported.
The bidders will apply during June 3-17 and the auction will be concluded on June 21. 
According to the ministry, this auction is a first of its kind in Iran.
