The Education and Human Resources Institute, affiliated with the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, is scheduled to hold two specialized courses on taxes and financial statements in May.
The first course titled “Tax Reliefs, Penalties and Related Crimes” will be held on May 8 and 9 from 3-7 p.m. Topics to be covered include tax exemptions, value-added tax crimes, tax reliefs for production firms and service providers and different tax evasion penalties.
The course will run for a total of eight hours, the news portal of TCCIM reported.
The second course titled "Analyzing Financial Statements” is scheduled to be held on May 15 and 18 from 3-7 p.m. Topics include different types of financial statements, different analyzing methods like vertical, horizontal and comparative analysis, liquidity, market and profit ratios, shareholders’ profit return rates and the analysis of financial leverages and statements belonging to a few select companies.
