Iran’s trade with Sweden had decreased significantly over the past few years to reach €41 million in the fiscal 2020, according to the head of Iran-Sweden Chamber of Commerce.
"In 2017, the volume of trade between the two countries stood at €496 million, which in 2018, with the beginning of sanctions, decreased by about €100 million and reached €396 million … From 2019, the volume of bilateral exchanges decreased sharply and reached about €66 million. In 2020, it fell to €41 million," Abdolreza Rezaie Hanjani was also quoted as saying by ILNA.
