    TCCIM to Hold Four Courses

    The Education and Human Resources Institute, affiliated with the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, is scheduled to hold four specialized courses.

    The first course titled “Customs Regulations and Commodity Clearance” is scheduled to be held on May 3 and May 5 from 3-7 p.m. Topics to be covered during this course include customs regulations, import tax, HS codes, transit, smuggling and list of commodities considered contraband in Iran, the news portal of TCCM reported.  

    Another course titled "Comprehensive Customs Course” is scheduled to start on June 2. Classes will be held on Saturdays and Wednesdays from 4-8 p.m. The syllabus includes order placement, how to receive foreign currency for import, customs procedures, what to do after clearance, goods declaration and how to declare goods in the Electronic Packing List’s Comprehensive System. 

    A third course titled "Practical EXCEL Lessons” is scheduled to begin on May 8. The course will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. Topics to be covered during this course include introduction to EXCEL basics and writing formulas using functions.

    A fourth course titled "Seven ICDL Skills” is scheduled to run for a total of 28 hours starting May 30. Classes will be held on Sundays and Tuesdays from 3-7 p.m. Topics to be covered include an introduction to information technology basics, introduction to Windows, using and managing files, introduction to Word, EXCEL, Access, Power Point, network information services, internet and emails.
