The growth in overall Consumer Price Index in the first month of the current Iranian year (March 21-April 20) was the highest (4.4%) in Bushehr compared with the month before.
This comes as, according to data released by the Statistical Center of Iran, Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari Province and Tehran posted the lowest month-on-month inflation of 1.7%.
The overall CPI, using the Iranian year to March 2017 as the base year, stood at 306.1 in the month to April 20, indicating a 2.7% rise compared with the previous month.
Ilam’s goods and services consumer inflation registered a rise of 58.1% during the month ending April 20 compared with the similar month of the year before, the highest among all provinces.
