The growth in overall Consumer Price Index in the 12th month of last Iranian year (Feb. 19-March 20) was the highest (2.7%) in Kerman Province compared with the previous month.
This comes as, according to data released by the Statistical Center of Iran, Gilan Province posted the lowest month-on-month inflation of 0.8% last month.
The overall CPI, using the Iranian year to March 2017 as the base year, stood at 298.1 in the same month, indicating a 1.8% rise compared with the previous month.
Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari Province’s goods and services consumer inflation registered a rise of 58.5% during the month ending March 20 compared with the similar month of the year before, the highest among all provinces. The year-on-year CPI growth was the lowest for Qom with 42.9%, compared with that of other Iranian provinces. The overall goods and services CPI in Iran registered a year-on-year increase of 48.7% in the same month.
