Porcelain Dish Output Exceeds 44K Tons

A total of 44,300 tons of porcelain dishes were produced in Iran during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2020-Jan. 19), registering a 10.6% decline compared with the similar period of last year, latest data released by the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade show.
Iran exports about a fifth of its total porcelain dish production, IRNA reported.
The provinces of Khorasan Razavi, Isfahan, Qom, Qazvin, Gilan and Markazi are the main production hubs of porcelain dishes in the country.
The data also show production of porcelain sanitaryware stood at 97,100 tons over the same period, indicating a 0.8% year-on-year fall.
