Exports From Sistan-Baluchestan Near 1.2m Tons

More than 1.19 million tons of commodities were exported from Sistan-Baluchestan Province’s two border crossings, namely Milak and Mirjaveh, over the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2020-Jan. 19, 2021). 
“These goods were exported to Afghanistan and Pakistan via 51,085 trucks,” the director general of Sistan-Baluchestan Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization was quoted as saying by the news portal of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
Ayyoub Kord said Milak and Mirjaveh checkpoints accounted for 654,513 tons and 542,770 tons of the total export sum respectively over the 10-month period under review.
He also said imports through the border crossings reached 54,028 tons, adding that 510,425 tons of goods were transited through the gateway over the same period.
