Iran produced 39,700 tons of porcelain dishes during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 20-Dec. 20, 2020), showing a 10.9% decline compared with the similar period of last year, according to the latest report released by the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade.
Based on the report, Iran produces close to 50,000 tons of porcelain dishes per year, a fifth of which is exported, IRNA reported.
Iran’s porcelain dish production hubs are the provinces of Khorasan Razavi, Isfahan, Qom, Qazvin, Gilan and Markazi, which together account for an aggregate annual output of 46,600 tons.
