New Chief for ISIPO

Minister of Industries, Mining and Trade Alireza Razm-Hosseini has appointed Ali Rasoulian as the new head of the board of directors of Iran’s Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization.
Rasoulian, who will also act as deputy minister, served as deputy for Economic Affairs Coordination Bureau of Khorasan Razavi’s Governorate before being assigned to manage ISIPO.
His predecessor, Mohsen Salehinia, headed the organization for almost 23 months.
With a total of 501 industrial parks, 322 industrial zones, three special economic zones, 77 specialized industrial and economic zones, six science parks, 37 centers for technological and business services, two telecommunications and software service complexes, 46,413 production firms and 3,055 workshops, ISIPO has so far created 935,577 jobs in Iranian provinces.
