Iran’s commercial exchanges with its major trading partner China stood at $13.52 billion during the first 11 months of 2020 to register a 36.5% decline compared with the corresponding period of 2019.
As data provided by China’s General Administration of Customs show, Iran’s exports to China totaled $5.66 billion, indicating a 54.9% year-on-year decrease.
In return, China exported $7.85 billion worth of commodities to Iran during the 11 months, indicating a 9.9% decrease compared with the same period of last year.
Trade between the two countries stood at $1.22 billion in November 2020, marking a 35.9% fall compared with the same period of 2019. Iran’s exports to China amounted to $498 million, as imports totaled $609.2 million.
