    Cleanser Exports at $76m in Eight Months

    A total of 185,000 tons of different kinds of cleansers worth $76 million were exported from Iran during the first eight months of the current fiscal year (March 20-Nov. 20) to register a 7% and 14% year-on-year rises in weight and value respectively.

    According to Neda Ataei, an official with the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, the exports included washing powder and liquids, dishwasher tablets, disinfectant gel, liquid and bar soap, detergent concentrate, alkyl benzene sulfonate, bleach, industrial and granular detergents, IRNA reported

    The official added that Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, China, Uzbekistan Turkey, Kazakhstan and India were Iran’s biggest export destinations for these products.

    Ataei noted that demand for cleansers is on the rise in the region and Iran can increase its market share by using its ample production capacities.
