Khouzestan Steel Company exported 877,613 tons of slab, bloom and billet during the first seven months of the current fiscal year (March. 20-Oct. 21) to top the list of Iranian steel exporters.
The volume of export is 19% lower compared with the similar period of last year.
According to data released by Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization, KSC’s exports during the seventh month of the year (Sept. 22-Oct. 21) stood at 205,429 tons, up 150% year-on-year.
KSC exported a record high of 2.76 million tons last fiscal year (March 2017-18), marking a growth of 34% YOY.
