The growth in overall Consumer Price Index in the seventh month of the current Iranian year (Sept. 22-Oct. 21) was the highest (10.3%) in West Azarbaijan province when compared with the previous month.
This comes as, according to data released by the Statistical Center of Iran, Kohgilouyeh-Boyerahmad Province posted the lowest month-on-month inflation of 4.1% last month.
The overall CPI, using the Iranian year to March 2017 as the base year, stood at 261.5 in the same month, indicating a 7% rise compared with the previous month.
Kermanshah Province’s goods and services consumer inflation registered a rise of 48.4% during the month ending Oct. 21 compared with the similar month of the year before, the highest among all provinces.
