A total of 1.34 million tons of goods worth $158 million have been exported from Yazd Province since the beginning of the current Iranian year on March 20, showing no significant difference in weight but an 8% rise in value.
According to Director General of Yazd Customs Administration Mohammad Hossein Salmani, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, the UAE, Azerbaijan, Oman, Armenia and Belgium were the main export destinations, IRNA reported.
Mohammad Reza Alamdari, the head of Yazd Industries, Mining and Trade Organization, said tiles and ceramics, steel products, wires and cables, pipes and profiles, plastic bags, shelled and unshelled pistachio, glass dishes, molybdenum oxide and ferromolybdenum, construction glass and floorings were the main products exported from Yazd.
