Latest statistics released by Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization shows Mobarakeh Steel Company has cemented its position as the top producer of steel in Iran.
According to IMIDRO, Mobarakeh produced more than 4.199 million tons of semi-finished steel products during the first six month of the current Iranian year (March 22, Sep 22, 2020).
The mill's semi-finished output was 5% higher than the first half of the previous fiscal year.
The company’s output during the sixth month of the current fiscal year (Aug 22- Sep 22) increased 5% to reach 701,966 tons.
MSC and its subsidiary Saba Steel also had the largest share of finished steel production with 4.19 million tons during the period under review (down 3% YOY).
