Lar-Doha Flights Resume After Six Months

Larestan International Airport located near Lar, the capital city of Larestan County in Fars Province, resumed operating flights to Doha on Sept. 17 after a six-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. 
According to Aminollah Solati, director general of the airport, weekly flights from Lar to the capital city of Qatar are scheduled on Thursdays, using Airbus A320 aircraft that departs Larestan International Airport at 07:45 a.m. and the return flight leaves Doha on the same day at 11:45 a.m. Iran time. 
Flydubai, a government-owned budget airline in Dubai, the UAE, also resumed flights on Dubai-Lar-Dubai route on Aug. 27 after a one-month break. 
“At present, the airport operates five domestic flights to Tehran and 10 international flights to Dubai weekly,” the official was quoted as saying by IRIB News.
