Fiscal 2019-20 Q4 Construction Permits in Review

The Statistical Center of Iran has published its latest figures concerning the number of building permits issued in Tehran as well as other urban areas during the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year that ended on March 19, 2020.
A total of 2,410 such permits were issued by Tehran Municipality in Q4, indicating a 5% increase over the preceding quarter (Sept. 23-Dec. 21, 2019) but a 10.1% decrease compared with the same quarter of the year before.
A total of 17,529 homes are expected to be built as a result of the permits issued in Q4 to register a quarter-on-quarter rise of 8.2% but a year-on-year decrease of 7.5%.
