Tourist Train Services Resume

Suspended for months over the outbreak of the new coronavirus, tourist trains are resuming their activities.
“Tourist trains from Tehran to Shirgah in northern Mazandaran Province will resume operation on Sept. 4th and 11th, and another tourist train will leave Tehran for Savadkouh on Sept. 10th,” says Reza Asari, an official with Raja Railway Transport Company, Mehr News Agency reported. 
A protection kit containing surgical mask and a bottle of hand sanitizer will be distributed among passengers to ensure they observe health protocol and remain safe. 
“Passengers will be asked to wear masks during the trip and social distancing rules will be strictly observed,” Asari said.
