The average goods and services Consumer Price Index of education group in the 12-month period ending July 21, which marks the end of the fourth Iranian month, increased by 21.5% compared with last year’s corresponding period.
With a coefficient of 1.86%, the CPI of the group among 12 groups of the basket of consumer goods and services purchased by households stood at 179.8, indicating a 3.3% rise compared with the month before—the lowest among all groups under review, the Statistical Center of Iran reported.
The education group’s CPI index registered a year-on-year increase of 22%.
