TCCIM to Hold Two Courses on Customs Procedures

The Education and Human Resources Institute, affiliated with the Tehran Chamber of Commerce Industries, Mines and Agriculture, is scheduled to hold courses on customs regulations in July and August to familiarize Iranian importers with customs procedures.
The first course titled “Customs Regulations Concerning Clearance Processes” is due on July 12-14 from 4-6 p.m. Topics to be discussed include key customs regulations, tariffs, HS codes, useful terminology, customs procedures, temporary imports, returned goods and transit, smuggling in the fiscal 2020-21, pecuniary management and profit engineering. 
All health protocols will be observed during the courses, the news portal of TCCIM reported. 
The second course is titled “Customs Electronic Packing List Comprehensive System” and is scheduled to run for three sessions starting August 2. The course will be held from 4-8 p.m. The curriculum include customs procedures, commodity pricing, uploading documents, commuting of trucks to and from customs, destination storehouses, electronic payment systems, domestic transportation terminals, how to stay connected to customs offices, police and other responsible bodies, etc.
