Sistan-Baluchestan Exports Over 240k Tons of Goods

A total of 240,990 tons of goods were exported from the southern province of Sistan-Baluchestan’s Milak and Mirjaveh border crossings (to Afghanistan and Pakistan respectively) via 9,906 trucks during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 20-June 20).
According to deputy head of Sistan-Baluchestan Road Maintenance and Transportation Department, Teymour Baqeri, Milak and Mirjaveh border checkpoints accounted for 221,858 tons and 19,132 tons of the total sum respectively, the news portal of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development reported.
The official added that exports mainly included foodstuff, construction materials, fuel and liquefied gas.
According to the official, more than 91,600 tons of goods were transited through the aforementioned border terminals using 3,959 trucks during the same period under review.
