$1.5b Worth of Mineral Projects Handed to Private Sector Over Four Years

The state-owned Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company handed over about 50 trillion rials ($284.09 million) worth of mineral projects to the private sector in the last fiscal that ended on March 19, 2020.
Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company (IMPASCO) is a subsidiary of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
As reported by IRNA, IMPASCO and IMIDRO have privatized 265 trillion rials ($1.5 billion) worth of mineral projects since the fiscal 2016-17.
