Hamedan Province Exports to 13 Countries

A total of 34,936 tons of goods worth $4.92 million were exported from Hamedan Province to 13 countries during the first month of the current Iranian year (March 20-April 19), registering a 39% increase compared with the similar period of last year, according to the head of Hamedan Industries, Mining and Trade Organization.
“The exports mainly included raisin worth $2.3 million and ferrosilicon worth $1.06 million. Other exported commodities included Portland cement, tomato paste, industrial milk powder, glass jars and industrial vaseline,” Hamidreza Matin was quoted as saying by IRNA.
The official noted that $2.32 million worth of agricultural products, $1.06 million of mineral products and $560,000 of petrochemical and chemical products were exported from the province during the period to register a 35%, 85% and 36% rise respectively YOY. 
Around $982,000 worth of industrial exports indicate a 66% decline compared with the corresponding period of last year, he added.
According to the official, a total of 37 tons of goods worth $415,000 were imported into the province, showing a 94% and 89% decline YOY.
