Real-estate agents’ commission on rentals will remain unchanged in the current Iranian year (March 2020-21), Mostafa Qoli-Khosravi, the head of Tehran Realtors Association has said.
“About 18 months ago, the association proposed an increase in real-estate agencies’ commission on rentals to Tehran Chamber of Guilds, which was refused. The commission would remain the same as that of last year, i.e. one-fourth of the monthly rent from both landlord and tenant,” he added.
Commission overcharges accounted for 10% of people’s complaints from realtors last year, he was quoted as saying by IRNA.
These are made directly to real-estate brokers for services rendered in the sale or lease of a real property.
