Around 12 million tons of minerals were extracted from mines in Bushehr Province in the last Iranian year that ended on March 19, 2020, according to the head of Bushehr Industries, Mining and Trade Organization.
Rashid Moradi added that 140 mines are currently operating in the southern province.
The minerals extracted from the mines included gypsum and lime, ISNA reported.
