SMEs Exports at €55m in 10 Months

Small- and medium-sized enterprises exported €55 million worth of commodities during the first 10 months of the last Iranian year (March 21, 2019, to Jan. 20), according to a report by the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade, Shata reported.
By definition, enterprises run by 50 workers or less, and 100 workers or less are considered small- and medium-sized enterprises respectively, according to Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization.
Iran is home to 80,000 registered SMEs.
