East Azarbaijan exported $310 million worth of agricultural products during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2019-Jan. 20).
According to Akbar Fathi, the head of East Azarbaijan Agricultural Jihad Organization, the export volume saw a 46% growth compared with last year’s corresponding period, Donya-e-Eqtesad reported.
East Azarbaijan Province has a 21% share in Iran’s total jobs in agricultural sector.
