West Azarbaijan Exports Surpass $1.6b Since March

West Azarbaijan Province has exported $1.69 billion worth of commodities since the beginning of the current fiscal year (March 21, 2019).
“This is while exports from the province amounted to $1.42 billion during the last [Iranian] year [March 2018-19],” Mohammad Mehdi Shahriari, governor general of the northwestern Iranian province, told IRNA on Sunday.
Shahriari expects the volume of exports to reach $2 billion by the end of the current fiscal year (March 19).
