A total of 3,960 production units became operational during the eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21-Nov. 21) to register a 3.9% rise compared with last year’s corresponding period, according to the deputy minister of industries, mining and trade.
Saeed Zarand also told IRIB News that the launch of these units, with a total investment of 249 trillion rials ($1.9 billion), led to the creation of 61,000 direct jobs.
