Iran's Iron Ore Concentrate Output Grows 3% in Nine Months

A total of 35.43 million tons of iron ore concentrate were produced in Iran during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21-Dec. 21) to register a 3% growth compared with the corresponding period of the year before. 
Production in the ninth month stood at 3.89 million tons, up 1% year-on-year, latest data released by the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization show.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Complex accounted for 12.11 million tons of the total output (up 2% YOY), followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 7.07 million tons (up 5% YOY), Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 3.98 million tons (up 3% YOY), Iran Central Iron Ore Company with 3.6 million tons (down 10% YOY), Goharzamin Iron Ore Company with 3.41 million tons (up 4% YOY), Opal Parsian Sangan with 2.27 million tons (up 4% YOY), National Development Industrial and Mineral Company with 1.77 million tons (up 65% YOY), Sabanour Mining and Industrial Development Company with 812,866 tons (down 10% YOY) and Jalalabad Iron Ore Complex with 367,677 tons (down 3% YOY).
