Decline in Iran's Trade With Turkey

Iran’s trade with Turkey totaled $5.28 billion from January to November 2019 to register a decrease of 39.68% compared with the corresponding 11-month period of 2018, data released by Turkish Statistical Institute show.
Iran exported $3.18 billion worth of goods to Turkey during the period, indicating a 51.47% decline year-on-year, while imports stood at $2.1 billion, down 4.71% YOY.
The country was Turkey’s 19th biggest export destination and the 14th biggest exporter of goods to Turkey during the period.
Iran’s exports to Turkey in November alone amounted to $83.33 million, down 74.35% YOY while imports from the neighbor during the month went up by 1.55% YOY to $189.7 million.
