The growth in overall Consumer Price Index was the highest (2.3%) for Kohgilouyeh-Boyerahmad Province during the eighth month of the current Iranian year (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) compared with its previous month.
This is while, according to data released by the Statistical Center of Iran, Semnan Province posted the slightest month-on-month inflation of 0.7% last month. The overall CPI calculated for the country (using the Iranian year to March 2017 as the base year) stood at 187.8 in the same month, indicating a 1.6% rise compared with the previous month.
Ilam Province’s goods and services consumer inflation registered a rise of 33.3% during the month ending Nov. 21 compared with the similar month of last year, the highest among all provinces.
