Growth in Cement, Clinker Output, Decline in Exports

More than 25.17 million tons of cement were produced in Iran during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21-Aug. 22), which shows a 4.8% increase compared with the similar period of last year, the secretary of Iran's Cement Association said.
Abdolreza Sheikhan added that more than 28 tons of clinker were produced over the same period to register a 7.5% rise year-on-year,” Mizan Online reported.
Close to 5.48 tons of cement and clinker were exported during the five-month period, indicating a 10% decrease YOY.
