Total deposits with Iranian banks and credit institutions stood at 21,311.2 trillion rials ($190.27 billion) at the end of the second calendar month to May 21, according to a report by the Central Bank of Iran.
Published on CBI’s website, the regular report indicates 26.6% growth compared to the same month last year.
Deposits are both in rial and foreign currency.
As usual Tehran Province topped the list with 11,632.1 trillion rials ($103.85 billion), or 54.6% of the total deposits. Isfahan and Khorasan Razavi provinces follow with....
