Iran: Building Permits Issued in Q1 Rise 13% YOY

The Statistical Center of Iran announced that the number of building permits issued during the first quarter of the current fiscal year that ended on June 21 increased compared with the same period of the year before. 
According to SCI's latest report, municipalities across Iran’s urban areas issued 34,278 building permits in Q1 to register a 13.1% rise year-on-year.
The number of permits issued in spring saw a 10.4% decrease though, compared with the previous quarter (Dec. 22, 2017-March 20, 2018).
