Tehran Stock Exchange End Mostly Lower

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 191.96 points or 0.11% on Sunday to end trading at 166,891.8

About 2.4 billion shares valued at 10 trillion rials ($87.71million) changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Amin Pharmaceutical Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 17.7% to 2,640 rials. 

Neyriz White Cement Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 5% to 17,835 rials per share.

Mobarakeh Steel Company-which boasts the tile of the largest steelmaker in MENA region) contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Tehran Oil Refining Company and Isfahan Oil refining Company. 

Bank Mellat gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by  Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and Bank Saderat Iran. 

The Price Index lost 55.73 points to close at 48,514.5.

The First Market Index was down 43.23 points to post 123, 284.8.

The Second Market Index decreased by 851.24 points to reach 330,844.8

The Industry Index went down by 460.66 points to register 151,605.3.

The Free Float Index was down 81.74 points to hit 179,164.33.

The TSE 30 went down 18.79 point to settle at 8256.5 and the TSE 50 ended 167.78points lower to finish at 7,262.5.

 

IFX Down 1.06%

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 19.74 points or 1.06% to close Saturday trade at 1,838.6.

About 1 billion securities valued at $45.57 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares as 331 million of its shares worth $5.5 million changed hands.

Khazar Sea Shipping Lines and Tuka Refractories Co.registered the highest value increase.

Kimia Zanjan Gostaran Company ( a producer of lead and zinc concentrate) Lavan Oil Refining company , and Parsian Kowsar Hotel suffered the biggest decline.

Zagros petrochemical Co, and Hormozgan Steel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
