TEDPIX Ends Tuesday Trade Up 1,000 Points

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 1,000.47 points or 0.55% on Tuesday to end trading at 183,212.2.

About 3.31 billion shares valued at $95.35 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

Khorasan Sugar Co. was the biggest winner as its shares went up 6.31% to 79,914 rials per share. 

Soufian Cement Co. incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 14.19% to 2,819 rials per share.

Mobarakeh Steel Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, and Omid Investment Group.

Mapna Group contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Jam Petrocemical Co., and Tabriz Oil Refining Co.

The Price Index gained 291.47 points to close at 53,358.

The First Market Index was up 657.12 points to post 136,203.1. Second Market Index increased by 2,383.18 points to reach 359,017.2.

The Industry Index went up by 918.52 points to register 166,554.5. Free Float Index was up 1,092.14 points to hit 193,404.67.

The TSE 30 went up 49.30 point to settle at 9,070.6 and the TSE 50 ended 44.53 points higher to finish at 8,085.9.

 

IFX Up 0.38%

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 7.57 points or 0.38% to close Tuesday trade at 1,993.75.

About 841.07 million securities valued at $29.82 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value as 166.17 million of shares worth $3.72 million changed hands.

Mobinone Kish Co., Kerman Development and Construction Investment Company, and Pegah Golestan Dairy Company registered the highest value increase.

Afranet, KBC Co., and Pakdis Co. suffered the biggest decline.

Esfahan Steel Co, Lavan Oil Refining Co., and Shiraz Oil Refining Co. had the most positive impact on IFX.
