Local petrochemical companies offered various chemical commodities on the oil and petrochemical trading floor at the Iran Mercantile Exchange on the last trading day of the week.

According to the IME website, 39,000 tons of vacuum bottoms were offered on board, along with 6,000 tons of sulfur, 2,000 tons of bitumen, and 500 tons of argon gas.

The export trading floor saw different offerings including 20,000 tons of sulfur lumps, 7,000 tons of granulated sulfur with the base price of $123 and $80 respectively. Moreover, 5,900 tons of bitumen as well as 900 tons of insulation were offered on the same floor.

Esfahan Steel Company (EFC) offered 25,000 tons of iron rods A3-12,32 with the base price of 16,800 rials on the mining and industrial trading floor.

EFC bid 2,376 tons of iron rods A3-12,32 with the base price of 17,000 rials. And 1,440 tons of iron rods A3-20, 25 were offered by EFC and 1,150 tons of iron rods A3-16, 25 by Iran Alloy Steel Company.

Close to 1,000 tons of steel billet 7-6063 were also offered by Iran Aluminum Company. Besides, 3,400 tons of coke were traded on the mining and industrial trading floor today.

As the report said, 1,600 tons of durum wheat as well as 250 tons of cubic sugar were up for grabs on the agricultural trading floor.

Overall, 40 types of various commodities were traded in the market, according to the website.
